Dr. Razack is internationally recognized as a medical pioneer who made history by performing the world's first robotically guided Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) procedure utilizing the Mazor Robotics Renaissance® Guidance System.
The groundbreaking surgery was successfully performed on August 19, 2013, at Celebration Health Hospital in Florida and represented a significant advancement in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other complex neurological disorders.
Deep Brain Stimulation is one of the most sophisticated procedures in functional neurosurgery, requiring extraordinary precision in the placement of electrodes within targeted regions of the brain.
